Functional Medicine
Functional medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on addressing the root causes of illness and disease, rather than just treating symptoms. It emphasizes personalized care, considering each individual's unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that contribute to their health or illness.

The Science & Procedure
Neuro Sympathetic RESET (NSR) is a 20-minute outpatient procedure that has been shown highly effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD/PTSI, hormone imbalance, menopause, and several other conditions associated with a dysfunctional sympathetic nervous system.
Introduction to the Procedure
Neuro Sympathetic RESET (NSR) is a procedure innovated from a 100-year-old treatment called a Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB), which was originally used to relieve physical pain in the head, neck, chest, or arm. There is a stellate ganglion, a bundle of nerves located on each side of a person’s neck. This concentration of nerves is a part of the sympathetic nervous system, which regulates your body's stress response, commonly known as fight, flight or freeze. Recent research increasingly shows the stellate ganglion plays a vital role in regulating our brains processing of emotions, particularly fear and anxiety.
In conditions such as PTSD(PTSI), anxiety, depression, and others, there is an overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. It’s almost like a stereo where the volume is stuck on 10, or when switched on, or triggered, goes automatically from 0 to 10. We have learned that by administering medication near the stellate ganglion, we can help RESET the sympathetic nervous system's overactivity–– imagine rebooting the system so it starts operating correctly, returning it to the pre-trauma state. For many, this RESET can lead to a reduction in symptoms such as hyperarousal or hair-trigger, intrusive thoughts, mood disturbances, hormonal imbalances, hot flashes, sexual dysfunction, sleeplessness or insomnia, depression, anxiety and more. (Note, we are discovering new things it can help every day)
Microbiome Testing:
Microbiome testing, also known as microbiome analysis or microbiome sequencing, is a process used to analyze the composition and diversity of microorganisms living in a particular environment, such as the human gut, skin, mouth, or other areas of the body. The human microbiome refers to the collection of trillions of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other microbes, that inhabit various parts of the body and play a crucial role in health and disease.
Endocrine Balance
Hormone Testing: Hormone testing involves measuring the levels of various hormones in the body through blood, saliva, urine, or other bodily fluids. The benefits of hormone testing can vary depending on the individual's health concerns and goals. Potential benefits include: identifying hormonal imbalances, diagnosing hormonal disorders, Hormonal treatment such as replacement therapy, optimizing fertility, preventive healthcare, personalize treatment outcomes in order to optimize health & wellness
Psychotropic Testing
The GeneSight Psychotropic TestThe GeneSight Psychotropic test analyzes how your genes may affect your outcomes with medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. The GeneSight Psychotropic test provides your clinician with information about which medications may require dose adjustments, may be less likely to work for you or may have an increased risk of side effects based on your genetic makeup.
